Building with a housing loan?
Get the signed plans and bill of materials the lender asks for.
Pag-IBIG's checklist for a house construction loan asks for building plans and a specification or scope of works with a bill of materials, signed by a licensed civil engineer or architect, plus a vicinity map. We prepare that set, priced up front, for borrowers anywhere in the Philippines.
What the lender asks for, and which part we prepare
Most of a housing loan file is yours to gather: your ID, proof of income, the land title and tax declaration. The technical documents are the part that needs a licensed professional's signature, and that is the part we do.
| Document | When Pag-IBIG asks for it | Who prepares it |
|---|---|---|
| Building plans, and a specification or scope of works with a bill of materials, signed by a licensed civil engineer or architect | When you apply | We prepare and sign the specification and bill of materials, and the plans too if you take the complete set |
| Vicinity map or sketch of the property showing landmarks | When you apply | We prepare |
| Building plans with the building, sanitary or plumbing, and electrical permits approved by the building official | Before the loan is released | With the complete set, we prepare the plans the permits need. You file them with the building official. |
| Pictures of the actual construction | Before each interim release | Your builder. If we build your house in Negros Oriental, or oversee your builder, our progress photos can support this. |
| Application form, IDs, proof of income, title, tax declaration and receipts | When you apply | You |
